The Dark Shark Nebula is a dark/reflection nebula in the constellation of Cepheus. These types of objects are very faint and low-contrast, thus making them extremely difficult to image from light polluted areas such as my backyard. To overcome this, I spent a total of 13 hours imaging this region with an f/2 camera lens. In other words, I collected as much light in those 13 hours as I would have in 100 hours using a regular telescope.
